Built on Real Experience, Not Just Theory

We started Macsofast in 2019 because we kept seeing the same problem. Businesses would invest in SEO tools and still miss what matters most—understanding how people actually search. After years of consulting work across Switzerland and beyond, we decided to create something different. Not another keyword tool subscription, but actual education that sticks.

What We Actually Stand For

These aren't aspirational statements we put on a wall. They're principles that guide how we teach, who we work with, and what we refuse to compromise on.

Honest About Limitations

We won't promise overnight rankings or guaranteed traffic numbers. Search optimization takes time, and anyone who says otherwise is selling something.

Real example: In our autumn 2024 program, we had a participant ask about ranking for "insurance Switzerland" in three months. We explained why that timeline wasn't realistic for a new site and helped them identify better starting targets. They appreciated the honesty and ended up with much better results by targeting achievable keywords first.

Teaching People to Think

Anyone can hand you a list of keywords. We teach you why certain keywords matter for your specific business and how to evaluate new opportunities yourself.

We spend three full sessions just on search intent analysis. Sounds boring, but it's the difference between chasing volume metrics and actually understanding what potential customers want when they type something into Google. This foundation changes how people approach content entirely.

Small Groups Only

We cap every program at twelve participants. You can't give proper attention to individual questions with thirty people in a webinar, no matter what the economics say.

Last year we had to turn away a corporate client who wanted to enroll twenty employees at once. Would have been great revenue, but we knew the learning experience would suffer. We helped them find another provider better suited for large group training instead.

No Upselling Mid-Program

When you enroll, the price includes everything. We're not going to surprise you with "premium modules" or required tool subscriptions halfway through.

Our program fee covers all materials, tools access during the program, and follow-up consultation hours. We saw too many education providers using the subscription model to nickel-and-dime students. That approach felt wrong, so we don't do it.

Learning Together Actually Works Better

Solo online courses sound convenient, but keyword research education benefits massively from peer discussion. Different industries approach search differently, and hearing how a hotel owner thinks about keywords versus how a consulting firm does it—that perspective diversity accelerates learning.

Our programs deliberately mix participants from various sectors. The hotel person might notice search patterns the consultant missed. The e-commerce participant shares competitive research tactics the service business owner hadn't considered.

  • Weekly group analysis sessions where we dissect real keyword data from different industries
  • Peer review of keyword strategies before implementation, catching blind spots early
  • Shared research channel where participants post interesting search trends they notice
  • End-of-program presentations where everyone shows their strategy development process

Where People End Up After Learning Here

We stay in touch with past participants, not for testimonial collection, but because we're genuinely curious how the knowledge applies over time. Here's what we've seen happen when people really internalize keyword research fundamentals.

Elena Martinez reviewing keyword strategy progress

Elena Martinez

Boutique Hotel Owner, Zürich

Completed our program in spring 2024. Initially skeptical about investing time in SEO education when she could just hire an agency.

Eighteen months later, she's restructured her entire website based on actual search behavior patterns. Her direct bookings increased enough that she reduced OTA dependency significantly. More importantly, she now knows when agency recommendations make sense versus when they're just following templates.

Thomas Bachmann

Independent Consultant, Basel

Joined in autumn 2023 wanting to add SEO services to his consulting practice. Expected basic keyword tool training.

He now runs keyword research as a standalone service offering and charges appropriately for it. The methodology we taught helped him develop a systematic approach he can replicate across different client industries. He's referred three other consultants to our program since.

Petra Lundgren

E-commerce Director, Geneva

Took our program in early 2024 after her company's SEO agency delivered generic keyword lists that didn't match their product catalog structure.

She's since brought keyword research in-house entirely. Built an internal process that feeds directly into product development—they now consider search demand during inventory decisions. Her team uses the frameworks we taught to train new marketing hires.

Who's Actually Teaching This

Our lead instructors aren't people who studied SEO in theory and then started teaching it. They're consultants who spent years doing client work before developing our education programs. That distinction matters when you're trying to learn practical application.

We've worked with businesses ranging from local service providers to international e-commerce operations. That variety taught us that keyword research fundamentals stay consistent, but application requires adapting to specific business contexts. Cookie-cutter approaches fail because every business has unique constraints and opportunities.

The teaching team intentionally stays active with consulting projects. We limit the number of education programs we run per year so instructors maintain hands-on experience with current search behavior and algorithm changes. If we stopped doing client work, we'd start teaching outdated methods without realizing it.

Our Commitment to Participants

Every question gets answered during the program, not handed off to a support queue. If we don't know something immediately, we research it and follow up properly. We stay available for reasonable questions even after program completion, because learning doesn't stop on the last session date.
